Accessibility Statement โ CP4U Platform
Operator: Sunrise Recruit Sdn Bhd (Agensi Pekerjaan Sunrise Recruit), JTKSM-licensed employment agency, operating sunriserecruit.com. Version: 1.0 (Approved & Harmonized Following Legal Review) Last updated: June 2026
We are committed to making the CP4U Platform usable by everyone, including individuals who utilize assistive technologies. This statement describes our active technical implementations, ongoing technical roadmaps, and statutory feedback procedures.
1. Our target
We aim to meet Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA across all public-facing pages and authenticated user surfaces. We treat WCAG AA as a mandatory compliance floor, not a ceiling.
2. What we have implemented (as of Sprint 6)
- Skip-to-content link at the top of every page so keyboard and screen-reader users can bypass navigation menus.
- Visible focus indicators consisting of a gold outline on every interactive element when reached via keyboard traversal.
- Semantic HTML landmarks (
<header>,<main id='main-content'>,<nav>,<footer>) allowing assistive technologies to efficiently jump between layout regions. prefers-reduced-motionrespect ensuring that when a user's operating system reports a motion-reduction preference, all platform animations and transitions are automatically flattened to near-instant execution (WCAG 2.3.3).<html lang='..'>synchronization synced dynamically to the active interface language (en/zh-CN/ms-MY) to guarantee accurate screen-reader pronunciation.- Form labels properly associated with their corresponding inputs across all signup, onboarding, user settings, and workflow wizard surfaces.
aria-labeltags deployed on icon-only buttons to ensure every button rendered with just a Lucide icon possesses an explicit textual label for screen readers.- Optimized color contrast ensuring primary text exceeds WCAG AA contrast ratios against backgrounds within our design system (navy on cream, white on navy).
- Comprehensive multi-language support localized across three locales (English / ็ฎไฝไธญๆ / Bahasa Malaysia) to dismantle linguistic barriers.
- Public status page (
/status) outfitted witharia-livetechnical updates providing blind or visually impaired users with synchronous audio confirmation of system status changes.
3. What we are currently optimizing
The following workflows are actively tracked and prioritized within our internal technical sprint cycle:
- Formal third-party accessibility audit. We have conducted extensive internal accessibility sweeps and are scheduling an external WCAG 2.1 AA validation review for Q3 2026.
- Exhaustive screen-reader testing across system roles. Public surfaces have been validated with VoiceOver (macOS); authenticated dashboard environments for granular backend roles are undergoing structured validation.
- Keyboard-only flow navigation. Full keyboard traversal is operational across the public site, partner referral dashboards, candidate Passport portals, and admin moderation modules. Remaining deep-nested admin layouts are being progressively updated.
- Alternative text (Alt text) capture on user-uploaded assets. A technical update is scheduled alongside our verified-photo ring deployment to mandate alt-text capture for custom user uploads (e.g., profile avatars, win-story media).
- Complex form validation enhancements. Select inline error warnings are being progressively linked via
aria-describedbyattributes to ensure immediate assistive audio readout during input failures. - PDF accessibility tagging. Signed platform agreements rendered via our printing endpoints (
/api/agreements/:id/render) possess semantic HTML markers; we are deploying additional tagging matrices to maximize structural readability within specialized external PDF viewers.
4. What is currently unsupported
- Native mobile applications. The Platform does not currently distribute native iOS or Android apps. The system architecture is built as a fully responsive web application optimized for standard mobile browsers.
- Offline operational mode. Access to the Platform data layers requires an active network connection.
- Sign language interpretation for multimedia assets. Video assets distributed during virtual Career Fair events do not currently feature embedded sign-language video streams.
5. How to report an accessibility barrier
If you encounter any accessibility barrier or technical restriction that prevents you from completing a workflow on the platform, please report the incident immediately via our centralized communications endpoint:
- Designated Feedback Receiver:
sean@sunriserecruit.com
To accelerate resolution, please incorporate the following details within your report:
- The target Uniform Resource Locator (URL) or page environment.
- The specific operational action you were attempting to complete.
- The technical variance encountered (what occurred versus the expected outcome).
- The specific assistive technology framework deployed during the incident (e.g., 'VoiceOver on macOS Sonoma', 'NVDA on Windows 11').
Our operational team will acknowledge receipt within two (2) business days, supply a functional workaround where commercially viable within five (5) business days, and log the fix within our development cycle.
6. Technical specifications
CP4U Platform relies on the following technologies to work in combination with web browsers and assistive devices:
- HTML5 + ARIA 1.2
- CSS3 (with
prefers-reduced-motionbindings) - JavaScript (ECMAScript modern standards)
7. Formal evaluation status
| Evaluation Metric | Active Structural Status |
|---|---|
| Self-evaluation Registry | Conducted internally via technical testing, Sprint 6 (June 2026) |
| Third-party Audit Framework | Scheduled for external commission. Target execution Q3 2026. |
